I admit, my first 2 blog posts being 7 months apart, is probably not the best way to start this?
But this 2021 has been a year to try and get back on track. I was optimistic in January when I thought I could pick up all of the pieces I'd dropped or just popped down for a few months in 2020.
Alas, it hasn't happened. But the bits I've picked up have worked well. I've been learning & retraining, along with spending more time with the kids. It's been great! Even in lockdown, I find myself busier than ever. Sadly, working 2 jobs from home, along with 2 kids (one of them home learning) to care for, it hasn't left me a lot of available time for Reusable Me. But that's also my own slackness. I really do have time. I can make time. I just haven't been focussed enough to direct that time usefully towards the business.
2020 saw me hide in a hole. I think a lot of people hid in a hole last year!
I summed up early that it wasn't the year Reusable Me was going to conquer the universe, like I had previously planned, and decided if I focus on everything else that is still going on, I could let my business sit in the wings and come back to it later. So I did. I didn't give up, I didn't stop sending orders, I just didn't put extra resources or "push" into the business.
This year, I've re-shot all product photos, and changed e-commerce providers. I'm so excited with the results! There's certainly more I want to do, add, and achieve in this space.
